How To Promote Amazon On Adwords? Unique Trick!

| | |

Here is an adwords-trick where you can display another domain to avoid bid-wars on Google which is a big pain in ass when ROI is a big question!!

So by using this trick by us you can get cheap clicks and send the same to amazon - works great!

Not quite like arbitrage on Adwords.

You need to have amazon as negative-keywords and send traffic with a non amazon-domain to them. What really sucks is the amazon partner interface. The statistics are pure crap - and I'm quite sure they won't change it.

Now the trick on Adwords for Amazon involves the following:-
  1. Build a landing page which must have good QS. Seek a professional PPC advise if you need to build quality Landing Page.
  2. Copy the amazon product description in there. The quality score has almost nothing to do with with the landing page btw. It's only 10-20% - ctr, adtext, ... which are much more important.
  3. Build your campaign like you would do with amazon.com - but use your domain in the ad and direct the ad to your fake-landing page.
  4. Start your campaign and wait an few minutes - it will go online.
  5. Change the links in the keywords! (insert your amazon code with your partner id in there - DON'T change the ad - just the keywords!!). then upload the campaign if you used the adwords editor.
  6. Dance around like a monkey cause you bid on the same keywords like your competitor but you pay less. ;)
The Cons of this trick:-

The bad thing is, after we changed and edited AdWords account, it stop driving traffic.

Still wondering how to fix that, it's seems undergoing some "review period" by AdWords. However, it has been stop driving impression and click (ofcuz .. 0 impressions) for few days. So you need to make sure that you must have your campaign set with the best precision from day one and must not keep playing around with Adwords to ramp up your ROI.

Not clear what you mean by the following in your post :
"(insert your amazon code with your partner id in there - DON'T change the ad - just the keywords!!)"
DO you mean change the destination URL to amazon.com directly for each keyword ?
